The Event

Earlier this year, we launched a creative competition with the theme of City of Dreams. Our editorial team were delighted by the number of very high quality submissions that they received, both in genre (poetry or flash fiction) and in writer age category (14-19 or adult), whether they interpreted the theme as being a call for writing about Milton Keynes, about dreams (or nightmares) of urban life, or – in some cases – both.​

Join us as we celebrate the announcement of the winners, and the publication of an anthology of the best entries, including 40 poems and stories by 34 local writers. Many of them will be reading from their work as part of this one-off online event, introduced – and no doubt applauded – by author, Jack Sheffield.
