Janitor needed for Arts Central Studios

Arts Gateway MK is Milton Keynes’s largest provider of creative studios with 85 individual units housed at Arts Central Studios in a warehouse in Kiln Farm. It also has a 60-seater performance suite and is home to the Community Arts Resource Centre (CARC) which holds large stocks of equipment and costumes for hire.

We are seeking a Janitor/Handyperson to look after our premises and our residents part-time on a day-to-day basis. This appointment is for 5hrs per week part-time with extra hours possibly available as circumstances dictate our discretion. Attendance on site each weekday is required.

A self-starter with good interpersonal skills the role is to ensure our residents enjoy the optimum use of their studio spaces, and any external clients are well cared for.

It is expected that the successful candidate will join our fire warden and first aid teams. Training will be given in these areas if not previously qualified.
